Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can non-climbers join the trip?
A: Of course! We are happy to bring non-climbers along and they will get the opportunity to experience the plentiful villages, cities and sites around Nice. There are plenty of other activities we are happy to help organize, such as cycling, hiking, swimming and more. Please contact us directly to discuss logistics and how we can help create the best trip possible for these guests.
Q: What skill level or certifications do I need to climb in France?
A: One of the great aspects of the crags in southern France is that there are innumerable routes for all levels of climbing, so it doesn't matter if you are breaking into 5.9 or are pushing the limits of 5.12, there is plenty of fun to be had! As well, while we don't require any specific certifications, you should know how to lead climb and belay in order to make the most of your trip. If you are new to leading, we highly recommend you take a course to learn these skills at your local climbing gym.
Q: How many guests are there per trip?
A: We have a maximum of eight per trip in order to keep our groups small and personal, as well as to keep our footprint at the local crags manageable and considerate to other climbers.
Q: Do I need to come with a partner?
A: No! If we have an odd number of guests, we will have staff on hand to jump in to belay. If you are traveling alone and don't want to share a room with someone else, please look into our single supplement on our Book Now page for your own room.
